Gypsy's child structure of the day - declaration and reality
Maierová, Martina ; Bittnerová, Dana (advisor) ; Levínská, Markéta (referee)
The purpose of my thesis is to present the structuring of time of eight Gypsy children aged 11 to 17, living or spending free time at prague's suburb Velká Ohrada. The central goal of this thesis is to identify the Gypsy's child structure of the day and to find out which points of a child's day are defined as crucial by child and by parents and to which event of a day these points refer to. The text is divided into theoretical and empirical part. Theoretical part focuses on pointing out the main aspects of the topic of time. First part also tackles the issue of conceptualization of time as a category itself and as a category, which structures the reality. Question of time is analysed in the context of sociology and psychology. The literature related to the structuring of time of Gypsies is also reflected in the theoretical part of the thesis. The discourse is conducted from a historical perspective and notes that the perception of time was affected by several significant milestones. Empirical part, in addition to the description of objectives, methods, research sample and environment pays particular attention to analysis of its own data of quality- oriented research - the view of Gypsy childern and their parents on how they spend different types of days (e.g. weekday, weekend day, holiday day)....
Selected factors of mode choice on the Prague-Munich route in the context of the planned high-speed rail construction
Petříček, Jakub ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Chmelík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to define in more detail a safety factor, a factor of passage of time and an ecological behaviour factor influencing the mode choice on the Prague-Munich route in relation to railway as a reference mode, and to estimate the change in mode choice after HSR completion with emphasis on defined factors. The work qualitatively analyzes the sets of ideas and understandings of selected factors, which in turn affect the travel behavior and the mode choice. Defining these factors creates space for estimating and proposing perspectives for the development of expected travel behavior in the context of the planned HSR system on the Prague-Munich route. The presented thesis discusses and interprets the comparison of selected factors between existing modes of transport. The significance of the thesis lies in the understanding and definition of selected factors that are important for HSR planning strategies between Prague and Munich. Keywords: high-speed rail, travel behaviour, transport safety perception, perception of time, grounded theory, theory of planned behavior
Perception of Time in Pre-school and Primary School Children
Krulišová, Julie ; Sotáková, Hana (advisor) ; Presslerová, Pavla (referee)
In the theoretical part of this work I summarize with the theoretical background and findings on the topic of time, time perspective, perception of time, especially in pre-school children and primary school children, characteristics of these periods and characteristics of understanding of time in this age, and I discuss briefly how adults teach children hours and time. In the empirical part, I focus on my qualitative research - interviews with children aged three to ten. My aim was to get closer and understand how these children view time and different time concepts, how they can reckon time and what is their concept of youth and old age, both in general and with their loved ones.

Time as Necessery Subjektive Condition of the Perception Process
HUNAL, Lukáš
My thesis describes the relation between time and the perception process. Time is understood as a necessary subjective condition for any cognition. Chapter 1 deals with a comprehensive understanding of time. Time is divided into objective time, subjective time and time as a subjective condition necessary for cognition. Chapter 2 describes the perception process. Perception is viewed as a central process, which continuously generates a sensory image of reality based on stimuli mediated from the outside world. Chapter 3 describes how time is related to human perception. Time is considered a necessary condition for things to be viewed in sequence.
